Inspection and the study meeting of autumn of 1999 of the Lighting Cultural-Studies Group were performed at the "Nasu European Lamp Museum."Mr. Toshio Hasegawa, a member, opened the "Nasu European Lamp Museum" into "Nasu beer garden of Ginga-Kogen beer" on March 1 this year.
The "Nasu European Lamp Museum" is exhibiting the Western lamps and luminaires in the 18th century to the 19th century focusing on the lamps "fairy lamps" of the phantom of the Victoria era with which Mr. Hasegawa collected through his works of Western antiques.
Inside the museum, there are antique furnitures and the stained glass of Britain, and they are devising so that the atmosphere of the time where the "fairy lamps" were used may be brewed.
