We visited a top manager of the branch office of Hongkong Bank in Tokyo in the wish to have convenience attempted about our study tour.
We heard from him that the Hongkong Bank was the first bank in Japan and the Hongkong Bank taught details of the bank business to Meiji government of Japan.

The person in charge in the company which maintained the building to do not a usual visit but a special investigation corresponded because we had formally asked the bank. Moreover, two Japanese staffs supported us.

The lighting fixtures were special types of SIEMENS and the lamps were L38W/21 (lamp length:1047mm) of OSRAM.

The luminaire efficiency of the two lamps recessed fluorescent lighting fixture with aluminum mirror reflector and baffles is 60-65% in normal design.
I think that the luminaire efficiency can improve 2-3% per one item whitch is the quality of the material of the reflector, the shape of the reflector, the shape of the baffle, the total effective open space ratio, the position of the body of luminaire and baffle, the distance of lamps, the position of the lamp and the reflector and the slot position of the return air etc..
I confirmed performance more than luminaire efficiency 74% by total items.

How many will there be products which exceed this performance with the lighting fixtures on the market at present? Please try to check them. Though the efficiency of lamps and the efficiency of electronic ballasts increase highly, but I think that the efficiency of lighting fixtures will be short of effort, and it is not increase.

Won't it be made to be finished "There is no effect."? Because there is a little effect on improvement of 1 item with 2-3%.
The effect by the above 8 items total becomes 16-24% as for proverb "The whole ocean is made up of single drops.", too.
If this value is reduced from 74%, it is 58-50%. There are many lighting fixtures of luminaire efficiency of this degree. So, I want to say that it is unnecessary.
