A fixed-amount tax reduction is being implemented in order to lower income tax for the 2024 fiscal year and resident tax for the 2024 fiscal year. People who were unable to benefit from this tax reduction are eligible to receive an adjustment benefit.
Notifications are being mailed out beginning on Monday, July 29, 2024.
Those who meet all of the following criteria are eligible.
※We plan to send notifications to eligible recipients starting from the end of July 2024. You will receive either a notification postcard or a notification envelope of application documents. If you receive a postcard, you are already confirmed to receive the benefit and do not need to apply. Those who receive an envelope will need to apply in order to receive the benefit.
1. Fill out the application form (確認書).
The application is included in the envelope. Please write your name and the bank account where you wish the money to be transferred.
2. Place the following three documents in the enclosed return envelope.
① Application form (確認書)
② Copy of the bankbook associated with the bank account where you wish money to be transferred
③ Copy of an identification document such as a residence card
3. Put the return envelope in a postbox.
The application must be postmarked by Thursday, October 31, 2024
Come to the Temporary Special Benefit Help Desk[臨時特別給付金窓口] on the first floor of City Hall, by the Accounting Division.
Available weekdays from 8:30 am to 5 pm.
※Please bring your envelope of application documents and your bankbook.
